It will be an opportunity to feel and experience some pure vegetable oils macerated with medicinal plants.

The production of a moisturising cream will be demonstrated, which includes in its formula macerated oil from medicinal plants, essential oils and other natural ingredients.

Let's Walk

Introduction to Fruit Physiology requires a minimally in-depth analysis of each species.

The aim is to learn in the field, and in theory, how to identify each species and its physiology, so that we can then act when necessary.

Species and their varieties are all different and each has its own type of branching, growth and subsequent fruiting. Their natural organisation is not only the most harmonious, but also the most efficient.

If we respect this natural construction of the tree and its way of bearing fruit, we won't have to impose artificial pruning that goes against its physiology and therefore its fertility and healthy growth.

In this way, we will only act as educators when necessary, promoting the characteristics of each variety. We will then be able to suppress "pruning reflexes" that are often destructive, disrespectful to nature and without the slightest scientific or physiological justification.

Let Nature Be, and help it according to its Characteristics. Learn to Communicate with Trees.

After understanding the Physiological Complexity of Fruit Trees, we can explore their meaning and place in the surrounding world - especially in their birthplace - the Humanised Landscape - and how it is a reflection of a long-standing symbiosis between Plant Entities and Human Entities. Addressing the Complexity and, above all, the Poetry of this symbiosis also means questioning the interplay of forces between the Wild and the Domesticated.

Addressing the Complexity and, above all, the Poetry of this symbiosis also means questioning the power play between the Wild and the Domesticated.

Vamos Aprender

Learn from the expert Rosa Pinho, what a herbarium is and how it is made, using the necessary material to exemplify and showing images of the herbarium at the University of Aveiro.

Let's Make

In this workshop we're going to talk about plants and ecological ingredients that we can use to look after our home. We're going to make: Herbal Multi-Purpose, Multi-Purpose Detergent, Air Freshener, Eco Laundry Detergent.
